Bundles of Chromosomes

When we see a beautiful car that charms our desire to have it, we are looking at a creation of electronics, metallurgy and artwork that is designed for our comfort and size of our pockets. The beautifully designed aerodynamic pieces of art, invites us to give it a try, and with permission from our pockets, we will soon be enjoying it. Relishing in its splendor and grandeur and cruising through the galleries of our imaginations. We are gratified regardless of its origin.

But do you know the car could have originated from Australian iron-ore dust? Oh, forget it, you are not in ancestries and have an enjoyable day. Hey, what about you? What are you made of? We are constructed of billions of cells that give us shape and our beautiful texture. Every part of us is an architectural design whose foundations are the cells. Hi, that’s good we are cellular.

In the nucleus of each cell, there are DNA molecules packed into thread-like structures called chromosomes. Each chromosome is made up of a DNA tightly coiled many times. The chromosomes give the cells their function and structure.  May I ask: Who are these DNA’s that are basics of our structures?

DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, are the hereditary material in humans and almost all other organisms. Nearly every cell in a person’s body has the same DNA. Most DNA is located in the cell nucleus, but a small amount of DNA can also be found in the mitochondria. Mitochondria are structures within cells that convert the energy from food into a form that cells can use. I get it, so we are all DNA’s and the food we eat, the DNA has a slice also. Well, it is not as simple as that.

Each chromosome is made up of DNA tightly coiled many times around proteins called histones that support its structure. Each chromosome is a single molecule of DNA. In humans, each cell normally contains 23 pairs of chromosomes, for a total of 46. Chromosomes structure carry hereditary biological information from parent to its offspring. The offspring may or may not enhance the information as it relegates it to its sub-offspring. The biological information that is hereditary is in forms of genes which are a substructure of DNA’s. Remember, bacterium which are disease carriers have DNA’s also. A full set like their victims, unfortunate humans.

A gene is a length of DNA that codes for a specific protein or function. So, for example, one gene will code for the protein insulin, which is important role in helping your body to control the amount of sugar in our blood. Out of all millions of genes in our DNA closet, we only use 3%. Remember the DNA are also in other organism and they may be utilizing another percentage of the genes.

The cells assemble to form different organs in your body as per the instructions from genes or as conveyed by enzymes. From a single strand of a hair to a whole foot, these are all bundles of chromosomes rich cells at work. Each and every one of them communicates through relays that will be a subject of later discussions. You inherited all this structures from your parents and you are at liberty to distribute them. Please, do so.

The reason we are here standing as humans is because our genes and cells have been improving generations after generations. From tiny tadpoles a billion year ago to a robust wide thinking chromosome packed being. This has been possible because of improving environmental conditions and the inquisitive nature of full grown creatures which influence the next set of siblings. No, I heard you, genes and DNA were not created from soil. Yes, I heard you: A good meal and a fight with your neighbor may improve your genes.

What are Dreams?

Perceived dreams occurs mostly when somebody relaxes in good sleep. Well, perceived because some people do dream when still awake. There are two main purpose of dreams one is to synthesis some recent events and manufacture them into memory blocks and secondary, is to clean up old memories. You should understand that our memories are not blocks stored in our minds but strings and links of related objects connecting our senses: that’s is there is a visual, sound, feeling effect in every memory object and related to past occurrence. For example, when you stare at an image of a green car, you relate it with the color, shape and connect this with past similar objects that you had seen and analyze it together with the sound they made and the names people called them. You wouldn’t know it is a car unless you had seen one before and connected this image with the past or you are enlightened today that the object is called a car.

Dreams connect pieces of information you have seen, heard, touched or smelled together and manufacture a storable object in the mind while at the same time relating other in your memory bank. One though is related to many things so that it is not stored in one place.  For example a chicken: you relate it to eggs, birds, delicious tasty meal, salt, hen coop and so on. So when you see an egg, there is a background image of a chicken blurred and a less blurred image of frying pan. Salt and good taste and son. So you dreams will synthesis all those thing together and store in your memory.

Dreams will also go to your 10 year old memory or older and check items that have not be visualized recently. Go through them (as you dream) unravelling obsolete links and erase them permanently in your memory. The images will appear vivid and real as they are unrolled to trash. You might never recall anything in the morning.

Are dreams meaningful to you?

Absolute not, it is only your brains organizing and building memory links and strings and doing clean up. They have no prediction qualities nor forecast benefits.

Hey! What about this dumb student who had studied and studied and felt his head was not holding anything. Till the day of the final exams when he had two dreams. One he dreamt of the answers and questions and true to his dreams that is the way the exam came. Then he had a dream that the logistic lecturer, a nice and colorful lady, would die in an accident that day.

After exam, he remembered her and he knew she was going home then: he rushed to the incline where the road from the campus joined the main highway and waited. Suddenly he say her red car appear and immediately jumped into the road in a bid to stop her. She was oblivious and driving comfortably when a man appeared on the road all of a sudden, she in panic hit the brake pedal while avoiding the figure. Unfortunately, she actually hit the accelerator and the car speed at full throttle past the dual carriage way to opposite direction and collided with a lorry hauling container. She perished.

Can women have children easily without child birth?

Let’s revisit the next question you asked after answering “Whether trees think?” and we traced the brains behind. The question of whether women can have children without giving birth and without having them develop in their body is obvious yes. It is yes, without involving any human surrogate. To some this might sound confusing. But let me quell the wondering of Brian, still on trees and how plants propagate, then will get back if there is enough time.

Plants propagate by tubers, stems or leaves like cactus, buds like bananas or mostly by seeds. Seeds are formed by flowers that are fertilized by wind or by insects. The female part of the flower is raised high above the male parts to avoid attempts of self-pollinations. The raised female parts called stigma collects male pollen from incoming insects or wind. Once the flower is fertilized its ovary closes and starts developing a succulent layer of nutrients to be consumed by the glowing seed or seeds within.

The length in which the ovary grows and turns into a fruit while feeding the growing seeds is determined by the specie of the plant.  When the seeds are fully grown, the succulent inner of the fruit turns into sweet or delicacy that can be consumed by animals or insects that will help in distributing the seeds where they can start they own life. The seeds when fully grown are not yet plants but are fully alive and only require a small condition and good environment to unravel the plant within. Seeds are also our main source of food.

The seeds are encapsulated fully grown plants that transforms into plant by process of germinations. Do they require black, red, clay or murram soil to germinate? Well they have no say but they do thrive anywhere as when weather is suitable and the soil has supporting nutrients and minerals.
